Beretta Godoy’s Labor, Social Security and Human Resources Law Department includes lawyers with large experience and specialization in the assistance of both individual and collective matters, related mainly to:

Advice to foreign and local clients on all areas related to Labor Law and Social Security Law, with emphasis on policies aimed at preventing conflicts

  • Human resources policy planning for the establishment of new companies or restructuring of existing ones. Preparation and review of internal labor rules and handbooks. Drafting of non-competition and confidentiality agreements consistent with domestic and international labor standard
  • Staff reorganization processes and changes in employees’ compensation, benefit and incentive systems. Preparation and review of stock option plans in order to adjust international policies to domestic legislation. Adjustment of foreign contracts to comply with Argentine labor law.
  • Assistance on collective conflicts and participation on negotiations of collective bargaining agreements. Advice to clients on their relation with trade unions.
  • Performance of labor due diligence in relation to the acquisition of merger of companies and the sale and purchase of corporate shares.
  • Development of voluntary retirement, downsizing, dismissal of key personnel and negotiation policies. Execution of administrative and judicial settlements.
  • Assistance on litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Labor and social security advise on matters related to diplomatic entities. Determination of the limits of immunity from jurisdiction before the local labor law. Procedures for conducting a potential claim.
