Federico Godoy moderated a panel about the global fight against corruption at the Canadian Embassy

Federico Godoy, Managing Partner of Beretta Godoy, was invited by the Argentine-Canadian Chamber of Commerce (CCAC) and the Canadian Embassy in Argentina to moderate a panel on the global fight against corruption, current initiatives and the changing risk environment.

The event took place on Wednesday, December 3 at the Canadian Embassy in Buenos Aires and featured Peter Dent, Chairman of Transparency International Canada and Partner of the Forensic Services Area of Deloitte Canada, as special guest. Peter Dent specializes in the design and management of anti-fraud policies and spoke about the changing nature of risk and current measures to combat corruption worldwide.

Pablo Cecchi, Executive Director of Poder Ciudadano, and Oscar Rinaldi, Advisor of the National General Audit Office, commented Peter Dent’s presentation and analyzed the current scenario of the global fight against corruption in Argentina, an issue of great interest to companies given the intense investigations and recent cases that have taken place worldwide as a result of the implementation of different anti corruption laws.
