New Exchange rate for exports in Argentina

Newsletter

Through Decree 549/2023, published in the Official Gazette on October 23, 2023, a new dollar for exports was introduced within the framework of the Export Strengthening Program, effective until November 17, inclusive.

Within 30 days, 30% of the foreign exchange generated by the export of goods or services may be liquidated at the “Blue-Chip swap” (known in Spanish as “Contado con Liquidación” or “CCL”) exchange rate, while the remaining 70% must be settled through the official foreign exchange market.
