New exemptions from the País Tax for specific import operations

Through Decree 14/20243, published in the Official Gazette on January 4, 2024, the National Executive Power established the exclusion from the PAÍS tax for specific import operations.

As of January 4, temporary imports, and the introduction of goods into areas of free trade zones with a Certificate of Typification of Free Trade Zones are excluded for the PAIS tax.
